Arrest History in Camden County
Camden County Sheriff is the main local law-enforcement agency for nearly all of this rural county. Elizabeth City Police may handle an event in the small part of Elizabeth City that crosses into Camden County. The North Carolina State Highway Patrol, wildlife officers, and state or federal agents can also make arrests here. Each arresting agency keeps its own initial report. A booking at the regional jail does not move that agency report into Sheriff custody.

How to Look Up Camden County Arrests

What an Arrest Record Shows
North Carolina law makes some basic arrest information public, but it does not open every part of an investigation. A Sheriff arrest report, Albemarle booking sheet, and Camden County court record may each add fields. Camden Arrest Requests Without a Portal
Camden County's official public-record request instructions allow a request to be made verbally, in person at the office holding the record, or by telephone. The county also describes email to the responsible department head and a written letter to the custodian.
This route matters when Camden County arrest history cannot be found in a live database. Under G.S. 132-6, inspection occurs at reasonable times and under reasonable supervision, and copies must be supplied as promptly as possible. The statute sets no fixed response-day count. Search by offender number when known, or narrow a name with first name, birth date or age range, and other available fields. A person who is not shown there may still have a Camden County arrest, a local court case, or recent regional jail custody.

The federal locator should be used only when the case or custody is federal. It will not provide a Sheriff arrest report, Albemarle booking sheet, or Camden County court disposition.
